Yemen tennis star claims Asian title

Young Yemeni tennis star Ghasan Al-Ansi has won the Asian Championship title and is scheduled to travel to China next month for another major tournament.

The Asian Championship concluded earlier this month in Myanmar. Al-Ansi is now focusing on the China International Tennis Championship to be held in March.

 Al-Ansi and his doubles partner Samir Sanad also won the doubles title at the Asian competition.  Sixty-four players representing Asian countries participated in the Asian Championship for ten days.
