Health Minister: WHO allocates $ 11.5 mln for health care in Yemen

The World Health Organization (WHO) has allocated $ 11.5 million to finance health care's activities and medicine collages in Yemen, said the health minister AbdulKarim Rase’a on Thursday.

Sum related agreement was signed on Thursday in Cairo, Egypt, in the conclusion of the five-day bilateral health discussions for 2012-2013 between Yemen and WHO.

Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a, who headed the Yemeni side in the discussions, said that the sum would finance the activities of primary health care and health management department in Aden University and
